			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Manningford Trout Fishery in Wiltshire in located between Pewsey and Upavon on the A345, just outside the village of Manningford Bohune. This trout fishery features 2 lakes that are fed from the river Avon and have beautiful clear water. The larger lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout to double size and covers around 5 acres. There is a smaller lake at Manningford Trout Fishery stocked with Brown Trout that is less than one acre in size and is open for catch and release fishing only.<span id="more-208"></span></p>
<p>The fishery records at Manningford Trout Fishery are a back breaking 26lb 8oz for Rainbow Trout and an impressive 19lb 4oz for Brown Trout.  The clean water, pristine environment and nearby tree cover helps foster natural insect life in the form of Damsels, Sedge, May Fly and Shrimp. As a consequence popular fishing flies include Damsels and Buzzers. Popular dry flies include hoppers and Daddies and lures such as Viva and Cats Whisker are successful all year round.</p>
<p>The excellent facilities at Manningford Trout Fishery include a fishing lodge stocked with tackle supplies, a picnic area, toilets and a generous car park. T he nearby Woodbridge Inn provides hot food with shelter on days when one encounters inclement weather. Fly fishing tuition and fly casting lessons are available on site from a qualified professional fly fishing instructor.</p>
<p>Manningford Trout Fishery has a fish farm that supplies both Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout to numerous fisheries, private lakes and beats on rivers, such as the Test, Itchen, Wylye, Avon and their tributaries.
