The fishery records at Packington Trout Fishery stand at 2lb for Rainbows, 10lb for Browns and 12lb for Blue trout. The lakes are stocked regularly with fish from 2lb to over 20lb. The parkland setting is home to abundant natural insect life including Damsels, Buzzers, Olives, Sedges, Hawthorns and Daddies. Lures fish well at Packington Trout Fishery with Cats Whisker, Black Tadpoles and Black and Green Nomads being amongst the most popular flies. Imitative anglers who fish here recommend Damsel Nymph, Black Buzzer, Pheasant Tail Nymph and GRHE.

The excellent facilities at Packington Trout Fishery include a fully stocked lodge with fishing tackle and snacks on sale. There is a lounge bar serving drinks and food located close by. Fly fishing Tuition is available on site from a qualified professional instructor. The venue is accessible to disabled anglers.

Packington Trout Fishery is located off the A45. Just follow the sign posts for Forest of Arden Hotel which is located next door.  The fishery stands in 300 acres of parkland which is a remnant of the original Forest of Arden.
