Salmon Fishing on the river Ribble

I am contemplating joining a fishing club in Lancashire so that I can go Salmon Fishing on the river Ribble.
Is the river Ribble worthwhile for Salmon fishing? What times of year are best? What flies are best? which of the clubs has the best water?
Any advice would be gratefully accepted! |
