Cound Trout Fishery in Shropshire is open all year round. The 26 acre clear water is spring fed and offers almost a mile of bank fishing. The depth of approaching 65 feet means that boat angling is always popular.

Cound Trout Fishery claims to stock Rainbow Trout up to 20lb in weight and the fishery record is over 26lb. Brown Trout and Blue Trout are also stocked in abundance. Bloodworm’s, Fritz’s and buzzers are popular flies amongst the loyal band of local fly fishermen who regularly use this venue.
