I am always learning, so when I arrived at Heathcote last week and no-one was catching, they were all tuggin lures for their country, I noticed alot of fish head & tailing. Not havin' used buzzers much before I thought "Go for it". Home-made Shipmans, nice and slow, BANG, lovely 5lb'r what a fight. Kept my eye on where the wind was blowin, cast into it,everyone was still tuggin' and castin' with the wind, buzzer size 12 skinny black with herl head, 10 mins and BANG, 2nd 5lb'r. I thought "yep I've got a three fish ticket, go on you can do it". Moved round with the wind, same buzzer, 20 mins lata and, Yep you guessed it, BANG, a fantastic fight, 10 mins to land, I am disabled and need to sit so it takes me a bit longer.I am now totally converted to buzzers, as part of my armery, as the take, fight and technique are so much fun. We should have a national, Buzzer only week, so others can have as much fun as I had.
